DAY 1: Arrival Sibiu
A professional photographer guide will wait for you in the airport. Meet and greet and transfer to Hotel. You will become acquainted with the members of this group.
Photo tour of Sibiu.
Your tour will be by foot and will include the Brukenthal Art Museum, the Stairs Passage, the Liar’s Bridge, the Great Square and the Lesser Square, the Stairs’ Passage, the medieval fortress’ walls.
Sibiu was the European Capital of Culture in 2007, together with Luxemburg, being the first city in South-Eastern Europe to receive this title.
Dinner in a local restaurant.
Return back to hotel and overnight in Sibiu.
DAY 2: Sibiu - Coltesti Fortress - Salciua
Breakfast in the hotel and departure by off-road car to Apuseni Mountains.
Photo sessions on the way. Lunch in a nice restaurant. Today you will explore the surroundings of Piatra Secuiului and Ramet Gorge.
The Ramet Gorge will reveal you the picturesque landscape of the Trascau Mountains along the Geoagiu or Rametului Valley.
The place is highly attractive thanks to its beautiful monastery – as old as the village of Ramet itself – and its breathtaking landscapes, carefully preserved within no less than five natural parks: the Ramet Gorges, the Prav Gorges, the Piatra Baltii Gorges (the “Pond Cliff” Gorges), the Manastirii Gorges (the “Monastery” Gorges), and a natural reserve called “Vanatarile Ponorului” (the “Edges of the Chasm”), which stands at the confluence of three large valleys.
Arrival in Salciua. Accommodation and dinner in the Guesthouse "Sub Piatra".
At sunset photo session in a very special and charming place in Dumesti village.
DAY 3: Salciua - Ponor - Ramet - Salciua
Breakfast at the guesthouse and departure by off-road car to Zapodie.
Zapodie is a pastoral hamlet in the Apuseni Mountains. You will be fascinated by the beauty of this landscape.
Lunch on the way.
We continue our tour to Ponor and Ramet.
You will enjoy the beautiful nature and the sensational landscapes and you may admire the white houses with their green windows.
Return to Salciua. Dinner and overnight in Guesthouse "Sub Piatra".
DAY 4: Salciua - Geamana - Mogos Glades (‘Poienile Mogosului’) - Alba Iulia
Breakfast in the guesthouse and departure by off-road car to to Alba Iulia.
On the way you will do photo session in the surroundings of Rosia Poieni and Geamana Decanting Lake and the Geamana Village
The lake is a sterile lake generated by the mining exploitation and has swallowed a village entirely. You will see the remaining sign that there was a village, the tower of the old church.
Stop for the lunch in wonderful surroundings of Aries Valley.
The Aries Valley is famous for the wonderful landscapes, beautiful gorges, meadows with flowers and colored butterflies. If the time permits you may admire the villages and you may meet the locals and see their traditional households.
Lunch in Galaxy guesthouse.
Arrival in Alba Iulia. Dinner and accommodation in Alba Iulia.
DAY 5: Alba Iulia
Full day of Alba Iulia Citadel.

Alba Carolina Citadel is considered to be the most spectacular and the largest citadel in Romania.
The Citadel of Alba Iulia has been designed by Marquis de Vauban. His revolutionary system of fortifications and defenses brought him international recognition throughout the centuries, as today there are tens of citadels built by the system that bears his name. Check in hotel and dinner in a local restaurant in the Citadel.
Your last evening didn’t finish and if you are coming on Saturday you may witness the "Changing of the Guard" ceremony where you can watch troops from the city's Austrian Empire's infantry, cavalry and artillery divisions in their traditional military costumes (only Saturdays, at 9 pm). What an evening!
Farewell dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in Alba Iulia.
DAY 6: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the airport.
Please note: The transportation will be done in off-road cars.
Each car will have 4 participants. You will choose who will drive the cars. Therefore please take your driving licence with you.
